1. Please keep your child home if they are running a fever! We are down 7 today and it keeps on growing. We are trying our best to Clorox and sanitize when we can.
2. There is a reading packet coming home that is called "The Playground Problem". This is a reading from a new science series. I wanted to show you an example of what I will be using for science quizzes. These comprehension questions are HARD! I will not be taking them as a grade for 2 more weeks in order to allow the students to learn how to answer these types of questions. You will see the first 3 in the grade book as 5/5 participation points.
3. We will be having our math test on Friday this week. Students seem more than prepared when I work with them in class, which I love to see! If you would like to practice with them, we are focusing on 3-digit addition. It also never hurts to practice basic facts as well :)
4. Keep doing dreambox at home! The kids are loving it and I am seeing some great data. What Dreambox is helping me do is see what little gaps students have in their math skills, and I am able to re-teach these skills.
Thanks again for your support. If you have any questions, please contact me.
